Microsoft just came out with their 1.0 version of XNA Game Studio. This version lets you export executables without sending source code.
It also lets you sync your computer with your Xbox 360 to test your game.

You know what that means?

1. This has pushed me over the fence. I'm buying a 360. Because not only are Mass Effect and Too Human coming out, I can now program games and put them onto a 360. That's too freakin' cool. I've wanted DoA 4 and Guitar Hero for a while now, anyway.

2. I can post executables of my game progress without giving out source code. Finally I can post my work without the risk of it being stolen.

That said, I have been re-inspired to work on my game and some basic progress on the engine has been made.

Also, Sumotori. This game is only 81k, but somehow contains a robust physics engine and 3D graphics. Leave it to indie programmers. Basically you play as a drunk sumo wrestler. The game features physics-based animation. It's pretty tight.
