In the last two weeks or so, barely anything has gone as planned. It sucks ass. I had to get up uber-early to go to a blood test this morning and it made me late for school because we waited around in the freaking waiting room for like 3 hours. Then, after school, I go to the DMV to get a permit. And then I fail the permit test. By one question. Jesus freakin' Christ. So, I have to wait another week before I can take it again. What a waste of time. But wait, there's more!I have to get up early again tomorrow.
To take another freaking blood test.
On my birthday.
Is nothing sacred?

Time for the fourth awesome website. www.ocremix.org
This website is truly awesome.
Basically, people remix music from videogames new and old, and submit it to the website. Then, a judges panel deems if it is OCR-worthy or not. It's not just techno either, the genres range from orchestral to nu-jazz. Generally, the stuff that gets posted is just quality, even if you're not a videogame fan.
It also boasts a clean, slick, easy-to-use design.
So, go check out some remixes. My favorite remixer (band) at the moment is Neskvartetten, who do some awesome jazz remixes of the old-school NES games. Here's a shout out.
Also, birthday countdown timer is now at 3 days.
Fools better get me some awesome presents (or present).
KLG, you're driving me crazy. Seriously.
Fubar rant now over.

Time for the third weekly Website of the Week.wolfire.com
Basically, this site is awesome. Not because of its design, but because of its content. It features some indie games that are all exhibits of genius game design (specifically Lugaru). For all you Mac users out there (I'm looking at you, Terrence) this is great, because all of the game were programmed for Macs and then ported to PCs. Something for everyone. Back to Lugaru. Lugaru, quite simply, never gets old. It's just awesome, with specific attention to detail and immersion. Lugaru's sequel will also rock the world when it comes out, seeing as the lead programmer (David Rosen) basically invented physics-based animation (yes, he's a programming genius, and I aspire to be like him). That's it for my rant. Fubar out.

So, I've been to school a whopping one day this week compliments of a really bad cold. I thought I'd be well enough to go this morning, but a racking cough changed my mind abruptly. Now, you might be saying "School only one day? You lucky punk, Fubar!" Ah, but that's too good for my luck. You see, now I have piled up a truckload of homework to be made up and I need to make up three tests. Not one, not two but three flipping tests. Bad times. And then making up homework. Don't expect to see me much this weekend.Back Next
